A chaotic little board game about mice, cheese, and very bad luck.

Version 2.0 released — bigger, louder, and more chaotic than before.

Roll the dice, move across the board, trigger surprising tile effects, and race against other mice to collect cheese before they do.

But be careful — the path is not safe. There are traps, shortcuts, strange events, risky choices, rival mice, and Shadow… the cat who is always waiting for the perfect moment to ruin your run.

Every round feels a little different. Sometimes you get lucky. Sometimes the board fights back. And sometimes another mouse gets in your way.

🎮 About the Game

Cheese Chase is a dice-based digital board game for 2–4 players, where each mouse races across a risky board to collect enough cheese to win.

You can play against computer-controlled mouse opponents, choose your mouse, turn on extra chaos, and enjoy a fast, unpredictable board game experience.

It is simple to start, but every match can turn into a messy little chase.

🕹️ How to Play

1. Choose your mouse.
2. Start a match with 2–4 mice.
3. Roll the dice.
4. Move across the board.
5. React to whatever happens on the tile.
6. Watch out for rival mice landing on the same space.
7. Reach the cheese and collect a piece.
8. Keep collecting cheese until you win.

The first mouse to collect enough cheese wins the game.

🐭 Mouse Scuffle

Cheese Chase is not always a clean race.

When mice land on the same tile, things can get messy. A Mouse Scuffle may break out, and one unlucky mouse can be pushed back on the board.

It is a small moment of chaos, but it can completely change the race.

⚡ Chaos Mode

Want the game to feel more unpredictable?

Turn on Chaos Mode.

When Chaos Mode is enabled, each round gets a special rule that changes how the board behaves. Some effects help everyone. Some make everything harder. Some just make the chase more ridiculous.

Chaos Mode is optional, but highly recommended if you like messy board game moments.

Translations are still being improved, so feedback is welcome.

🚧 Current Status

Cheese Chase is playable and actively being improved.

This version includes 2–4 player matches with computer-controlled opponents, the main gameplay loop, sound, language options, accessibility improvements, Mouse Scuffles, Chaos Mode, and updated board mechanics.

Online multiplayer is planned, but it is not available in this build yet.

In a future version, players will be able to create a table, invite friends, and play together online.
